What visitors say

205 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“Shihata's Orchard is easy to access and is on all paved roads. Plenty of free parking on the grassy hillside. This was our first visit to this orchard. We purchased Honey Crisp apples and they were amazing. We also purchased Apple Donuts and Carmal Apple Cookies. The cookies were soft and amazing. The donuts had a slight rancid taste like the frier oil had been over temperature and scorched. We spoke to another person that had visited the orchard that week and they said the same thing about their donuts. They go there every year and said it was the first time their donuts weren't excellent. Maybe someone new in the kitchen or trying to fried faster to meet demand. As an experienced deep-fry cook having worked in a restraunt as a cook, you cannot over temp your fryer oil. The gift shop had something for everyone. We will be back next year, and recommend this orchard.”

“Wonderful apples, fresh and beautiful! Apple cheddar cheese surprisingly good! Apple cider is best this year! Perfect combo of apples! Gift shop is packed full of of great products. We enjoyed a long time on their large deck in the warm sun and sweet breezes while watching hawks sail the air currents! This is slightly off-the-beaten-path. We now know why it was well worth our efforts to find it. Go there. It’s the best. Noticed nice children’s play area, too. Fabulous time spent there. So relaxing! What a nice family!”

“Talk about a whole Experience!!! This was my first time here but won't be my last!! Happen to catch it during the festival, picked our apples got apple bread, apple donuts, Carmel apples!! Staff were super friendly and helpful.. just an overall 10 outta 10 place to stop!!!”

“What a lovely place. We didn't walk the Apple orchard but we did get apples, caramel dip, apple bread, apple cider donuts and a caramel apple cookie. We are using the bread to make french toats while camping. The staff was great. The food and apples taset delicious.”

“It's a fun place to take the family. Lots of child friendly games and play things. The gift shop is amazing, from wine to Christmas decorations, apples to bread mixes, and more. It's fun walking through the orchard and picking apples. This is a great fall activity.”

“This orchard is pet friendly. They have tone of apple's on their trees for picking. Plenty of activities for the children as well. Their bakery has the most amazing donuts and cookies. Their main store has everything u can make with an apple.”

“Always a great place to officially kick off Fall! Best Zestars around. Definitely try the Bakery Barn and grab turnovers and cookies!!”
