Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Illinois.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Absolutely stunning farm! I can’t believe I’ve never been here before! My toddler had the time of his life here and honestly we (parents) did too, other pumpkin patches/ farms don’t compare. If you have little ones please don’t hesitate to come to Siegels! Their cost of admission is very reasonable for all that’s included ( over 35 unlimited attractions). The farm is clean and so many restrooms are available throughout along with hand washing stations. Their lemonade and food are fresh and taste great. Plenty of places to sit and takes breaks throughout your exploring. I’m just so happy with our experience today, my son didn’t want to leave and asked when is the next time he can return. Not crowded and so much space to comfortably walk at your own pace. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful to all. Just so much to do for all ages. Interactive and such a wonderful time , other pumpkin patches don’t have this much to do for little one. We can’t wait to return to Siegels! Seriously the best!!”

“Very nice Farm there is a lot of different attractions to visit. Definitely a lot of things for little kids to be able to participate in down to jumping on the big airbags, playing on the playground, rides, games and slides! Plenty of farm animals and surprisingly there was even a bull! Admission fee was $19.99 but definitely worth that especially if you have little kids to entertain. I was surprised that I actually didn't see any caramel apples for sale that was what I was wanting to buy when I went in however there were plenty of pies and popcorn and candies. Overall though it was a very nice experience for my first time and I would go back and visit again.”

“My daughter and I took my grandson yesterday to see the dinosaur exhibits they had going on. My grandson who is not quite 2 loves dinosaurs. They had different dinosaurs around the farm. They were big and made sounds. It was really cool. They had a dinosaur house you could walk thru playing the theme from Jurassic park. They had a big slides, parks and various stuff for the children. Plenty of food and drinks. It was really a fun time. I would recommend for anyone who loves dinosaurs. They also had unicorns.”

“Visited with two grandchildren and their grandmother. An extensive array of educational exhibits. The train ride for young children is a must. Delicious food items and drinks galore. Weekday entrance fee discount. Larger rides and more involved displays featured only on weekends. You will not be disappointed!”

“Don’t go on a weekday! Update: to respond to owner questions, the only mechanical ride(the swing) was closed sign says only open on weekends, all concessions as per pictures were closed, mountain slide picture taken at 2pm was closed (closing time says 6pm) big train says closed weekend only and asked employee and said closed, big maze closed, the pig race ride closed, again all closed. Maybe offer half refund or late weekend entry for confusion, rather than gaslight as if the review is wrong. Especially when the pics show clear signs of everything closed! Cons All attractions were closed except for the playgrounds and bouncy pillow. Train was closed, food concessions were closed, the big slide was closed, I mean the 4 dollar difference, we came on weekday hoping to get better experience with less crowd. We were told we couldn’t re enter even though all food was closed, how were we to eat? The big slide was closed, I was so disappointed, it was the reason we came. Purchased doughnuts and half were fresh and warm and other half were cold and stale Pros Bathrooms were clean Playground were well themed More play areas compared to other locations but paying for playing at the park… that’s what we got. Dino barn was pretty neat, different from other locations. If attractions were all operating, this would be the place to be.”

“This place is not worth the money you pay for 10 people ($290). Some of the attractions that were listed on the website weren’t even there, secondly one the trampoline pads were completely flat and the one that was flat was limited to 12 and up, and the one for 11 and under was completely operational. This is unacceptable service! Experienced At: 3:52 PM Central Time ⚠️ NOT COMING BACK!”

“It is absolutely a kids only event venue. Attended booze and bunnies for adults, and general admission was $25! We should have stopped there when I saw the prices but thought it would be all inclusive, so I figured why not. The drinks that were provided for an additional cost were barely sub par, my drink wasnt even that good and I paid $20 for just a regular drink and a non alcoholic drink, and they still were demanding tips, putting the tip jar in front of the RFID scanner while customers were buying drinks or goods from the barn. The food trucks available were not even from good restaurants in the area. Taco truck only served tacos, they didnt have anything else that was offered on their menu; yall shouldve bought from the truck before you had your paying customers paying $4 for SMALL STREET TACOS! And they weren't even filling, the steak tacos had lots of grissel, was more fillers and not even steak. When it came to activities, the patch of land used for the Easter Egg Hunt was less than an acre big, and I timed it. You wanted x amount of paying customers waiting over 2 hours to have a FUN easter egg hunt when the amount of people who participated ruined the whole event! From the last person who was part of the 10 second grace start ahead, it lasted less than a full minute!!! I know scrawny men who last longer than THAT doing the deed! It was a waste of money and time, and im glad I went because now im here telling you all, to NOT waste you money and time doing an adult event! Even some of the prizes that were inside the eggs were passes for the Halloween events happening later in the year, and when we asked if we can switch out prizes (because we do not have children ) we were met with "you get what you get" 0/10 do not recommend. And im new to the area, will NOT be doing that again!”
