Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Indiana.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“My grandchildren fell in love with it. I I have twin eight year old girls who couldn't decide what to do next. I e great thing I lived was the admission price was all inclusive. Unlike all the there patches/orchards around. There was a playground, hayride, petting zoo, live music . There was no charge for any of it once you paid your $6 admission fee. They had a good variety of food nothing over $5 great variety of pumpkin sizes shapes etc. Not exactly sure of the price of them as we were with our church group STRIPPED LOVE OF ANDERSON INDIANA and they donated us each a pumpkin. We will definitely taking our girls back for years to come”

“The staff is the most amazing and kind group of people I have ever met. The pork burgers are to die for...literally I would die for one. Anything you get to eat is so delicious! And the pumpkins are very fairly priced!! They are the cheapest yet highest quality pumpkins I’ve seen! It’s a great place to go with your family and friends yet not spend a fortune! Such a nice family-run pumpkin patch!! Would recommend to anyone in town!!”

“Great opening day, unfortunately it was Raining by noon. Smith Family Farms came through with a rain check. With that being said we got some really nice pumpkins and a pony ride. Would recommend. It can be a little pricey at $6 a person large or Itty bitty and pumpkin price on top of that. Overall we had a good time and will be returning.”

“Great spot for pumpkins, petting zoo, playground, tractors, and kid-friendly (aka easy and easily walkable) corn maze. Lots for kids to do. Even though this wasn't a great year for pumpkins, there was still a good selection and the price is reasonable!”

“Seemed like a nice place, but they do not allow service animals. However, a dog is on the front page of their website. It's a little contradicting to me...”
