Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kentucky.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“Great “fall stuff” destination for the gorge and Lexington! There is so much here not featured in these photos. They had pumpkins and mums for sale. A gift shop with some snacks and drinks available as well as a cafe/ restaurant/ concession stand is open 10-5 on weekends. Bathrooms are available and plenty of parking on the left when you enter. There is a real pumpkin patch out back of the farm with wagon rides every half hour. A kids train ride. Many games for all ages. Corn pits. Goats, cows and donkeys who are friendly. Overall such a great experience and we will be recommending this to all our friends in the gorge!”

“Am absolutely beautiful place to spend the day or evening! So many fun things for kids to do, and adults too! The food is wonderful, the owners of the farm are fabulous to work with and it's such a peaceful serene place to enjoy fall activities! Pricing is totally worth every penny! Thank you for all the hard work that has gone into this!”

“I had my absolute dream wedding here yesterday it was everything I could imagine and more!! The place is absolutely beautiful and the owners you won’t meet anyone as down to earth and friendly as they are they made everything I wanted happen. Definitely recommend the patch!! Also they have the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets!!!”

“Super family friendly, super welcoming, and such a beautiful spot! The owners are so kind, they even round up all children at the end of the day to help bottle feed their calves. They clearly have put so much love & heart into this place and it shows. The food is good, the slushies are great, and the atmosphere is wonderful.”

“We didnt get a chance to spend as much time as id liked but this is amazing. It had games for kids, adults, corn maze, pumpkin painting, pumpkin picking, they have tic tac toe, ( with punkins) tether ball which was fun as when I was a kid. Jenna, and more. I was so happy to take my 5 year old. He had a blast.”

“Our school had a field trip today at The Patch and it was wonderful! My favorite Pumpkin patch that I've ever visited! They had everything you can think of and the owners are so kind! We really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back!”

“Went on a field trip here and it was beautiful with wonderful staff/owners! Accessible for people with disabilities including wheelchair accessible wagon to the pumpkin patch! Great way to spend a fall day and very well priced!”

“Beautiful farm with a variety of things to do for all ages. Our women’s group enjoyed it so much and I am looking forward to many more visits there.”
