Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Missouri.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We love going to Uptown Farms every year and watching this quaint little patch continue to grow and thrive in our small town. Mums, pumpkins, gords and oh my, the donuts!! It's may favorite place to relax on Sunday, listen to live music and let the kids play for hours in the patch, down the slide, lost in the maze, covered in corn or shooting pumpkins. There's something new every year! And be sure to bring your tastebuds for an apple cider donut, frozen wine or goods from other local small businesses. Uptown Farms really knows how to support a small community! Did I mention that the donuts are amazing?!”
“Oh, my goodness!! The grands had so much fun yesterday. That was my husband's first pumpkin patch experience. The farm is gorgeous. The Lamberts have thought of everything. The cider donuts are amazing. And, the young man who was at the cash register, is very personable.”
“Uptown Farms has something for everyone! We are so fortunate that this family puts their heart and soul into their patch. They want you to have somewhere to make memories with your family and spend all afternoon there. The staff is amazing, and so are the donuts!”
