Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Illinois.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say
2 reviews on file · showing 2 visitor notes from the listing data.
“Stopped for peaches — well organized self serve system! It is in the country but when you get close there are signs. Yummy peaches!”
“Strange experience. My wife gave them a “follow” & left them a nice comment on their facebook page. We had a great time picking up some veggies/flower clippings. She showed me her comment to them, and we spoke of the great time we had there. Later that day, the owners deleted her comment & barred her from following their page. We don’t even know these people, but know that they’re not welcoming to our kind.”
