“5 stars for the location and structure alone.. Amazing views from the back deck of the wooden building. Tons of open space for whatever activities the owners may choose to host. The rows and rows of apple trees are a cool cherry on top... While I'm not a big cider guy personally, I really enjoyed everything that I tried. Cherry vanilla.. solid. I would definitely recommend a stop if you're out exploring the area.”

“When we do staycations, wineries are one of our points of interest. Always meet some great people, test some interesting local wines, and there is always a story behind each and every place. Winterset is one of my favorite Iowa places to begin with and the Cidery has great selections, and the views are outstanding. The live entertainment we have seen was very good as well.”

“Excellent ciders! The Estate and bourbon barrel were my top choices. Both were on the dryer side. The cherry vanilla is on the sweeter side but the apple pie is very sweet. If I lived closer, I would be as a regular.”

“Very cute little place. They have a lot of cider flavors and most are very good. Strawberry was my favorite. The strawberry dirty soda and the mountain dew flavored one were my favorite of those. They have balls and Frisbees and bubbles and chalk for kids. Theres outdoor seating. They have a sand volleyball court outside. They have live music on certain nights with a stage outside. You can walk through the apple tree area. The staff is very friendly. You can purchase any of their ciders. I believe its $18 a bottle. Would definitely recommend. We had my sister in laws surprise birthday party here. Will definitely go back!”

“Great location, yummy ciders… weird water policy. You can bring your own food, your dog, blankets and chairs but I need to put my water bottle in the car? My EMPTY water bottle and use disposable plastic cups instead of just filling my insulated bottle? And this is also not written on the house rules. This is wild given I still bought a drink.”
