Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Virginia.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“This was a great place for our family to visit! It's very well laid out, with fun, thoughtful touches like the names of the animals and jokes on the bathrooms. The corn maze was big and nicely maintained. The extra touches, like the trivia at the various stops, the bridge at the end and the cute decorations make it a great overall experience. We appreciated that it was pet friendly as well. We recommended it to friends and would definitely return!”

“A fun place for all ages, families, couples, or even yourself. Food and drinks options. The brewery has specials for each month. In the fall the ciders are good. The corn maze changes every year, and it was super fun to complete. There are several games around for small ones and adults. Totally worth the price. Plenty of parking and space. Not recommended for wheelchairs or people with physical movement restrictions.”

“A wonderful place for all ages. The corn maze was an adventure! It took us about 40 minutes to get through. It was fun spending time with family. So much to do for the kids to run around and play outside. The apple cider on tap was delicious! The food trucks were also a good hit. We really enjoyed the Mexican food!!!”

“Fantastic place for the whole family! The corn maze was so much fun, and then with animals, playgrounds, and other fun activities (face painting, apple sling, rolling down a hill in a giant pipe, giant Jenga and connect 4, etc), as well as horseback rides for kids, it was simply amazing!”

“This corn maze was fun and very family friendly! The setting was stunning with the Blue Ridge Mountains in full view. There were many other activities for kids to explore as well as a nice assortment of pumpkins, snacks and drinks to purchase. Very well run. I'd definitely go back!”

“Took our 4 little kids here back in October. Super great fun, tons of variety, and perfect activities for kids of all ages. Huge maze, animal feeding, playground, slides, barrel rolling, and more! Everybody loved it!!! Also, beautiful views.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed the maze and it is definitely worth going to. The only reason that I didn't give 5 ⭐️ is because I bought my tickets online in advance and the system charged my credit card 3 times at about $87 apiece. Still getting this sorted out as 2 of the charges haven't dropped, yet. So, word of caution to those wanting to go: buy your tickets upon arrival so that you don't have multiple online charges in limbo on your credit card. (As an added note, I didn't have any credit card issues with the food purchases made in person.) Other than that, there's a gift shop, pumpkins to purchase for very reasonable prices, food to enjoy, animals to see, and games to play. We were a group of 3 teens and 3 adults and had an enjoyable experience.”

“The set up was really cool. Picture ops, an obstical course, pumpkins and treats to buy. Local products! The maze itself was showing wear. We did go the last weekend so that is expected. We went at night. It was so much fun. We kept going on a circle! The staff was so awesome! The fudge they were selling was the best pumpkin fudge I've had!”
