“This was such a fun experience. We went apple picking in the orchard and came back the next weekend for the apple carnival. We did the tour showing how apple cider is made (and tried the samples). Then went through the pumpkin patch and then the apple tasting section trying dozens of different apple genetics. Yum! They have some awesome apple crosses coming down the line next year. Definitely purchase a bushel and at minimum sample a cup of the apple cider 🍎🍏”

“They had a good selection of large plump apples. They had already been washed, so the kids could eat them right away. There were signs indicating what each kind of apple was good for in cooking. It's a far drive for us, but if we lived closer, it would be fun to take the kids to grab an apple. We didn't do the corn maze because it was $7 per person and we have five kids.”

“We had a wonderful time today at the Apple Butter Festival at Silver Creek & Seaman's Orchard. We drove up from Midlothian. Weatwas perfect. Lots of vendors, several food trucks and lots of apples, and apple butter, as well as many other things. Bluegrass band played, too. We all had a great time. Even got some pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.”

“Tucked in the blue ridge mountains, this is the most beautiful apple picking experience we’ve ever had. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. My one request is to get more authentic and wholesome options in the store. Gluten free apple cider donuts would be an amazing addition!”

“This place has the best apples in Nelson County. We have tried them all and we chose this place over all the rest. We have been buying their apples for probably 10 years of more. We used to buy a baby as 25 bushels at a time and they're have always been the best around. They're not as conveniently located as some is of the others but it's worth the extra time. Check them out, you will not be disappointed”
