“From the moment we arrived at Buffalo Bill’s Pumpkin Farm, it was abundantly clear why this beloved fall destination is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of Franklin, Wisconsin, this family-owned farm is bursting with charm, laughter, and the kind of playful energy that invites you to stay all day. As part of their annual dog event, KO Photography had the pleasure of capturing joyous moments of owners and their four-legged friends—and what a delight it was to be there. The farm laid the perfect backdrop: expansive pumpkin patches, fun-filled activities, rustic barn structures, vibrant fall colors, and a welcoming atmosphere that made our photo sessions feel relaxed, dynamic, and picture-perfect. Here are a few stand-out highlights that made our experience exceptional: • Variety and Fun Galore: With over 20 included activities—from the corn maze, pedal cars, and straw mountain to giant Connect Four and a corn pit—there was no shortage of fun for kids, dogs, and photo shoots alike. • Thoughtful Family & Pet Inclusion: The farm’s goal of “giving your family long lasting memories” rings true in every corner—from the pick-your-own pumpkin patch to the pet-friendly event days. On the dog-event weekend, the “pets in the pumpkin patch” experience was a highlight for our KO Photography sessions—dogs rocking costumes, pumpkin props everywhere, and an overall festive vibe. • Friendly and Welcoming Atmosphere: Farm staff were warm, helpful, and genuinely committed to creating a memorable day—whether guiding a puppy through the corn maze or helping a family pick the perfect pumpkin. The environment felt safe, inclusive, and just plain good-hearted. • Excellent for Photography: For KO Photography, the lighting, colors, and backdrop possibilities were outstanding. The combination of bright pumpkins, autumn foliage, rustic textures, and enthusiastic subjects (including wagging tails!) made for endless creative opportunities. • Extra Amenities & Events: Whether it’s the teacher appreciation day, Real-Life Hero day discounts, or special workshops (like the beeswax lip balm class), the farm goes beyond just a pumpkin patch. These extras speak to the thoughtful design and strong community focus of the venue. In short: If you’re looking for a fall outing that merges fun, photo-worthy scenery, and a dog-friendly environment, Buffalo Bill’s Pumpkin Farm is an outstanding choice. Thanks to the farm’s energy and organization, our KO Photography team left with a gallery of joyful memories—and our clients left with big smiles (and great pictures). We’ll absolutely be back next year for more pumpkins, more pups, and more picture-perfect moments!”

“Just took the extended family to Buffalo Bill’s for the first time, and absolutely loved it! There are so many different activities and the kids had an absolute blast! They loved the jumping pad and didn’t want to get off, but then they went to the corn pit and didn’t want to leave that…until they saw the magnet fishing, and it became a competition who could catch the most fish! Meanwhile the adults were competing in a rousing game of bags, and a hilariously awkward round of tether ball! Then we all took turns “racing” on the on the pedal cart track! We all came together for a trip through the corn maze and some pumpkin picking! There really is so much to do for all ages, and our entire family had so many laughs and made so many great memories! We will definitely be back!”

“My sister's been going here for years and always hear good things about it. So this year we started our new family tradition. We couldn't be happier. We got to pick out and cut down our very own tree. My daughter got to pet some horses and little ponies. She even got to make her very first ornament. It's a little big for our livingroom but we love it and the house smells amazing. Hopefully we'll have a bigger house for next year. Highly recommend”

“I went to Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Farm for the first time for the Pet Event. It was so fun going on a hayride with my puppy, and walking around the farm. The staff were nice, and I love that it's family owned. My dog super enjoyed the lure course, and we will definitely come back next year. I love the fact that there are so many activities to do as well.”

“We just started going there this year. We went last weekend and spent a good 3 hours there with all the activities they have for the kiddos, we easily could have been there longer. The cornmaze is fantastic! It took us 20 minutes to figure out how to get out.”

“What a great time! It is so amazing they let pets in on the last weekend. So much for them to do, everything was clean and a friendly environment. Pets are even allowed on the wagon ride. This is our new tradition!”
