Burkett Farm

“The hard work witnessed, smiling face’s dedication and organization alone makes the farm unforgettable. The beautiful vegetable and flower gardens being taken care of, the neatness of the grass daily being maintained.Nature shows up as you see the healthy big trees.Dragonflies floating around, the sound of the Hens in the air so pure to breathe as the open blue sky is visible above you forces a relaxing treatment to the soul.It changed my view of life sitting there visualizing good thoughts beyond the trees as the farm adds greatness to come.A place I would always want to visit!”

“Today, Burkett Farm offered a 2 hour tour of their property. It was an amazing and informative event. I learned so much about regenerative farming. This is an incredible farm and a hope that this technology will be adopted by more farms in the future. In less than one acre they produce 1200 pounds of food each year which is then donated. Our hosts were Kait, Lauren and Giselle. This was a morning well spent. My husband volunteers at the farm every other Tuesday and I now understand his joy in doing so. Thank you for today!”

“The amazing crew at Burkett keeps us going with beautiful flowers and foliage throughout most the year. When they are cultivating and cutting during their growing season, we are bringing in their product. Tulips, snapdragons, zinnias, dahlias and the list goes on. AND the work of Burkett Farm directly supports incredible non-profits in our community like Passage Home. SO proud to be part of this effort and to support this wonderful NC farm!”

“Had a Kimchee class today and experience was amazing. Thanks to all involved and happy Birthday to our wonderful instructor.”

“Stopped by to see the great things going on like giving food pantries fresh vegetables seems to be a lovely way to volunteer”
