What you can pick

In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for North Carolina, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in North Carolina.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“A gem of a place! It was our first experience of berry picking and it was truly memorable. Different varieties of blueberries to choose from and the berries tasted great! The owners were very friendly and my kid spent quite a lot of time talking with them. Got tomatoes and sweet corn too. Definitely recommended!!”

“I took the family this morning 7/13. This place is easy to find; just follow the signs. We had a great time picking blueberries. They are super sweet and delicious. We even bought some blueberry blossom honey. The girl at the counter was super friendly and helpful. We definitely will be going back soon.”

“Fantastic experience! They have 5 different varieties of blueberries, all of which are distinct and delicious in flavor. The price is excellent. The Campbells are really nice people. They also make a mean blueberry sundae! They are open for the month of July to the first week of August so hurry over :D”

“This was the perfect place for little ones to pick blueberries. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon, I appreciated that they had wagons to pull the littles, especially my almost 2 and almost 4 yr olds. Prices are extremely affordable! My son, 5.5 yrs old, said it was the best day ever!”

“Best little hidden gem! If you like strawberry picking you will love blueberry picking. Great people, kind hearts and fair pricing. The blueberries are so sweet and good!”

“Beautiful farm with wonderful blueberry bushes. Really organized pick your own and available to purchase tasty berries plus other fresh veggies. Had a great time.”

“Clean, well-organized, paths are wide and easy to walk through. Over 2500 bushes! Owners are very friendly. My kids are already asking to go back!”
