Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Maryland.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I visited Knightongale Farm this past weekend and had such a great experience! The pumpkin patch was beautiful — plenty of photo opportunities, a fun corn maze, and a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere. Everything was well organized and not overcrowded, which made it even better. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy fall vibes without driving too far, this farm is a perfect choice. In my opinion, it’s even better than the Maryland Corn Maze — more scenic, calmer, and full of charm. 📸 Check out some of my photos from that day on social media — Follow me at @jarvinphotography for more fall landscapes and local adventures! 🍂🎃”

“$10 per person, $8 for military and first responders. Excellent activities for young children and the food ( pay separately) is excellent...West river BBQ, pretzels, popcorn and snow cones. My daughter's favorite parts included the corn box, hay ride, moon bounce, swings. We stayed here for five hours! Friendly and welcoming staff!!!”

“They offered the best birthday fun for our 5 year old girl! Big kid slides, “hamster wheels,” tricycles, corn boxes, a nice long (& informative) hayride, and a visiting petting zoo. Our group spent the afternoon sprinting from one activity to another. Easy to work with, friendly staff, helpful. Knightongale has a great thing going.”

“Great prices, activities and pumpkins! We did the corn maze, moon bounce, tricycles and picked pumpkins! The face painting line was 10 ppl long the whole time we were there so we didn't do that but it was a great time!”

“While the kids did have a nice time and I appreciated the simplicity of the pumpkin patch, I thought the price of admission was rather steep for what it is. A “two kids free with a paying adult” or “parents free with kid purchases” type of model would be much better. There was also a major bee problem. Kids loved the bees and thought they were “so friendly” but I did get stung as we were leaving.”
