Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Illinois.
- Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Nice inexpensive experience for the kiddos. Remember to take sunscreen/hats/wagon/water (all the stuff I forgot hahaha). Our gang only lasted about twenty minutes... so essentially we bought two extra baskets but compared to the MI U picks we usually do it's not a big deal at all the prices are great! Highly recommended.”
“My 1st trip to here the drive was great. The place is very big, however, the strawberries were very small to tiny size.”
“Wonderful strawberry patch and friendly staff. 2nd year in a row and we'll definitely be back.”
“Very delicious strawberries and not bad priced! Fun activity to do with your kids!”
“Strawberries are small but very sweet, excellent staff.”
“We enjoyed picking strawberries on 5-28-24”
“Disappointing amount of strawberries and their quality. It was hard to find any that were ripe enough to pick.A lot of small, dried up syrawberries. Surely not what I expected.”
“Really bad place. No strawberries at all. And if you find some they are really small. Don’t spend your time coming here.”
