A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in North Carolina.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“If you’re looking for a sign to get off your phone, out of the city, and into a strawberry field pretending you’re in a Hallmark movie… this is it. 🍓😄 I went to Page Farms last Saturday with three friends, and we had an absolute blast. The weather was beautiful, the strawberries were delicious, and somehow we all turned into competitive produce hunters within 10 minutes. (“Nope… that berry is mine.”) What I loved most is that it actually feels like a real family farm — because it is. Four generations of the Page family have kept this place going, and you can tell they truly care about creating a fun experience for everyone. It’s wholesome in the best possible way. The farm is super family-oriented with plenty to do besides picking strawberries. There’s a barnyard playground, hayrides, slides, swings, and enough fresh air to remind you that yes… happiness may actually smell like dirt and strawberries. And apparently they keep the fun going year-round: 🍓 Spring = strawberries 🫐 Summer = blackberries 🎃 Fall = pumpkin patches, corn mazes, donuts, coffee, and all the cozy “I suddenly want to decorate with pumpkins” vibes. Honestly, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down for a minute and just enjoy life. We laughed nonstop, ate way too many strawberries before they even made it into the basket, and left already talking about coming back. Highly recommend Page Farms if you want a fun day with family, friends, kids — or if you simply need proof that strawberries taste better when you pick them yourself. 🍓”

“This was my baby’s first pumpkin patch, and we made memories that I will never forget. This farm isn’t some big fun park style place where there are too many people and everything feels shiny - this is a genuine, down-to-earth farm that you can tell so much love went into. The signs are hand painted, the activity spots handmade, and the folks so friendly! We got to feed corn to cows, played on hay bales and swings, and they even have a separate corn pit for under 3, so we could play gently with our 1 year-old without the fear of being trampled. The hayride was so much fun! We rode through gorgeous woods and along the pond, and the drivers and staff were so welcoming and genuine. The pumpkins are not unreasonably priced - 70 cents per pound, and we got the biggest one we could find, and it only ended up being $15. That’s well worth it to us, because we’re supporting a local farm and not some conglomerate. Don’t sleep on the food truck, either! They had the tastiest, down-home cooking hotdogs and hamburgers. We got beautiful photos, had a wonderful time in perfect weather, and there wasn’t an overloaded crowd. (We attended at 3pm on Sunday). I can’t wait to see what else this amazing farm has to offer around the seasons, now! Thank you for such wonderful first memories.”

“Page Farm is amazing for every season they’re open. It was such a delight to visit them again for the Fall Season. This year our little guy was big enough to enjoy everything and that made things way more fun and enjoyable as a family. Page farm customer service is awesome the staff is super helpful and kind it’s just a great atmosphere all the way around We truly Love This Place 🧡💛🤎”

“Page Farm is a wonderful experience for families and children! Lots of kid, friendly activities from the corn pit to the slides. I love the hayride. Ray our driver was super entertaining. I enjoyed the donuts. I especially love the selection of Pumpkins.🎃 They do educational programs there also. I’ll be back next year for the strawberries.”

“"The redder, The sweeter". Parking is easy. Rows upon rows of strawberries. The play area is spacious, covered by trees, and has various equipment to swing and play on. It's a family friendly environment.”

“This venue is fantastic for kids, with a $12 entry fee on weekdays and $18 on weekends. The children had a blast in the corn jumping area, enjoyed a fun hayride lasting around 10 minutes on a tractor, and had exciting experiences with the cow train, slides, and various farm animals. The addition of corn and hay mazes added to the fun. However, it was quite crowded, likely due to it being a Friday, and numerous schools were having field trips. Despite the crowds, it's a lovely place for a delightful fall outing, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. I'm giving it four stars because there weren't many snack or food options for kids. Fortunately, we had enough food with us. I'd suggest adding a small donut store or something similar in the future to enhance the experience. The most exciting part is at the end of the visit when you can personally select a pumpkin from the patch, which was definitely something the kids eagerly anticipated.”

“Enjoyed spending time on field trip picking strawberries. I was willing to pay extra for a larger bucket but was told I'd have to come back later after the field trip was completed, yet a few other parents had the larger bucket on the ride. It was a ways from getting the bucket and going back to strawberry area. I desired to pick enough for the siblings. Wonderful presentation on farm animals and strawberry 🍓. Strawberries were sweet and juicy. The kindergarteners enjoyed the play area: swing, slide, sand, hay, etc Wonderful place for children to play.”

“What an wonderful experience. So many things to do for all ages. Went in the fall and quite few things that others don't. Love that not only do they have a hay ride, but they also have a mini version of a hay rides. It's these side carts that go around a small trail. Tons of photo opportunities, corn maze, things for younger kids to do. Little place to learn about corn, pumpkin patch. Games! Only downside was food options. Was hoping for apple cider, donuts, fried food or food truck with more options.”
