Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Washington.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I absolutely love this farm for pumpkin fest. I go there with my kid and his friends a few times a year and next year I’m definitely going to buy season tickets. I think these are new… they added a pond and a mining fountain thing. They also have more benches and places to sit. There is so much to do. They have the best corn maze in town, ziplines, apple cannons (pay extra), tricycles, a hay maze, a giant hay pyramid, a hay ride, a loaf jump, a big playground, a barn, a pond, a mining thing, a gift shop, and hot food. I must be missing something. Oh… and a couple of pumpkin patches. Their animals are healthy and clean. They have kittens that they adopt to people at the end of the season. We have been going years and even though the kids are now teens, they still love going. Buy tickets online for a discount and going during the week is cheaper and is way less crowded than the weekend. Their kettle corn is delicious and only $7 for a giant bag (as of 10/3/25). Also, the people that work there are sooooo kind. In a world that lacks kindness and good customer service, I have to say that I am both overwhelmed and shocked by how truly great that are. I highly recommend this farm.”

“We visited Schilter Family Farm on a Thursday night for the sunflower fields. We paid $11 each adult online and our daughter (7mos) was free. We went at 6pm and the host at the booth greeted us and provided us with a map of the place. We had a great time even though we had only 1 hour to enjoy the fields. There was barely anyone there so we enjoyed taking our time with family photos. We appreciate the staff for staying as late as they did until we left at 7pm. Each adult ticket gets you one flower. We took home two and they’re beautiful! We really enjoyed our time here and plan to come back for their pumpkin patches and Christmas tree farm.”

“The Schilter Family Farm is our favorite fall tradition! We love the hayrides, the petting farm, the trike trek, the zip swings... so many fun activities to enjoy. This year we spent all day wandering the gorgeous pumpkin patch and munching kettle corn. Then we took home our pumpkins, cider donuts, and one-of-a-kind fantastic fudge. There's something for everyone! Thank you, Schilter Family, for providing such a wonderful experience for families to come and spend time together.”

“Went to the pumpkin patch for the first time this year. The experience was great. Truly such a beautiful property. The only downside was that during the week they unfortunately don’t serve any hot food. Only cider donuts and fudge. And the corn maze is extremely slippery and muddy. Other than that it was a fantastic experience and oh my the donuts are absolutely amazing and the price per pound for the pumpkins is absolutely fair. I believe we will be returning next year.”
