Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Pennsylvania.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“. My family went to their fall festival the third week in October. It’s a wonderful Event with hayrides and pumpkin picking. I love apples and eat about three or four a week. I brought home around 40 apples to keep in my second refrigerator. It’s been almost 2 months since I bought Them and I have four apples left. They are still as crisp, sweet and juicy as the day I brought them home. Wish we lived closer.”
“Love their selection of apples! They have apples I never heard of and Jonathan apples are one of them. They are the best tasting apples ever. I like that it's local and I love to support our local businesses. Thank you Simon's for all your work in growing and maintaining your apple orchard and then selling your yummy apples. :)”
“Been going here for years and my parents have gone here for years before that , Nice people good apples and real Cider not pasteurized, many choices of apples .”

“BEWARE!!! Went there and as my 87 year mother started up the step to go inside their 2 big dogs ran and jumped up on her nearly knocking her down. We left and would never go back.”
