Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Illinois.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Lovely farm setting. Huge selection and size range of heirloom and multi colored pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, corn stalks, mum's and honey. Very reasonable prices. Pleasant owners and check out procedure. Definitely not commercialized with free parking and free admission. Modest games and activity area for toddlers to teens with little tykes ride ons, corn hole/cross atoss, etc. We went on a Wednesday, early afternoon so not crowded at all, but weekends can get extremely busy. We might be going back for their Moonlight (Corn) Maze event on October 7 or 14 (small fee and bring your own flashlights).”

“Very fun little place. No animals, which is something we wanted to avoid so this was perfect. Corn maze was good, pumpkin selection was great with many kinds and good prices. Fun games for the little ones. Everything was very rural-farm, but that was part of the attraction and charm. Kids and I had a great time and left with 8 pumpkins.”

“Absolutely stunning barn setup. So organized and beautifully designed. Great prices on all decor and pumpkins! I spent about two hours here today because I loved the place so much! The owner probably thought I was nuts, but this farm is such a peaceful place during this time of year!”

“It's a very small place but cute and they good prices for pumpkins. We spent an hour there which was plenty. They have a corn maze and a barn you can take photos in. I got a regular sized pumpkin, called a Jack for $5. Cash is better because they have a high credit card fee.”

“I was looking for heirlooms in beautiful colors and found them here! Stunning color combinations. Pricing wasn't too expensive and staff offered to help me load and unload my car. It's a lovely place to get pumpkins and other basic decorating needs.”

“This was the perfect little pumpkin patch experience, they had an extensive selection and the woman at checkout was very polite! I will definitely be back next year for my pumpkin needs for the fall season!!”

“One of my favorite farms in the area. Friendly family owned and super cute for photos. Just a good time with the kiddos.”

“It was an okay pumpkin patch but you cannot really go to the actual patch to grab your pumpkins. Most of their pumpkins were in a barn. My son and I just came to buy, see, and go really quick! Nothing much to do and see!”
