A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We visited this orchard on Sunday for the first time. It is only 10ish minutes from our house and we were excited to try it out. There was someone there instructing you on where to park, then inside they went over the different options on pricing and gave instructions on what to do/where to go. The prices were actually extremely reasonable!! Then we hopped on the hayride that takes you to the area where you can pick apples and pumpkins. They also showed us where the corn maze was. They told us that we should try the corn maze first so that we weren't having to carry our bag of apples through the maze. The maze was very well put together and was pretty tricky, we really enjoyed it. There was a variety of different apples to pick from and the place is VERY well kept up with and very clean. They told us we could try the apples but asked that when we were done with them if we could throw them in the various garbage cans they had out. They had various staff members out and about throughout the orchard and pumpkin patch so if we had any questions we could easily ask. Then after we were done with all those activities they have a hayride that takes you back to the store and front area. In the front area there is a fun basketball game (made out of an old grain bin- which is actually genius because the ball always comes back to you), a place to take a family picture, two baggo sets and another fun checker game but with vegetables instead of typical checker pieces. The bakery had a lot of yummy stuff. We got a caramel apple (which was homemade and delicious), fresh plums, donuts and cookies. All of the stuff was fresh and really good. All in all we had a great time and will definitely be back. I have also recommended it to a few co-workers as well.”

“I absolutely love this place. First off, the Apple cider donuts ARE THE BEST IN WISCONSIN. And the Carmel apple oatmeal cookies are UNBELIEVABLE. I also love sugar cookies and these are fire as well. Apparently, “Krystle” does the baked goods so thank you to her because…I haven’t had better. But what I really love here is the experience you get. A family run farm with a bunch of high school girls working a seasonal job to make it run smooth. (I worked at a peach orchard in high school so maybe it’s just nostalgic for me.) It’s a smooth operation, and it’s u-pick apples and pumpkins. Personally, the apples are my favorite. There’s not a better apple than the one you picked off the tree, and I love coming here to pick. One of my top places to visit during fall. Oh AND there was a corn maze—just long enough to make you a little nervous but just short enough to finish with 2 toddlers and a baby. GREAT experience, highly recommend.”

“We loved this orchard! Very cute setting. Their trees are lower than other orchards, which made it easier for our kiddo to pick. You purchase your size bag and take a hay ride to the orchard. The orchard itself is beautiful. There is also a pumpkin patch and corn maze in the same area. Back at the store you can purchase tons of baked goods, pumpkins, apples, and even mums. They also had games on the side to enjoy: This felt like the perfect orchard to go apple picking each year if you want an overall enjoyable experience and also want to support a local business! Mr.Jacbonson himself was out front leading us out!”

“We love going to this orchard and have been going yearly the last few years. We enjoy taking the tractor ride to and from the orchard to u-pick our apples. They do have apples for sale inside the shop, in addition to dips (harvest wine is tasty), donuts, frozen cider and cider popsicles (good if hot outside), and other meats and produce. This family run orchard is a gem, and we enjoy the family focused feeling versus that of the larger, more commercial orchards.”

“Very cute small town orchard with kids games, seasonal goodies, and hayride included in your apple or pumpkin picking. There's a small gift shop with homemade butters, jams, candles, and more. Reasonable prices. Super friendly staff. Overall 12/10, will be returning next year.”

“Wonderful place. Not too big, not too small. Everyone was extremely friendly. Prices were good too. Worth a trip.”

“The day started out very nice, it is very cute and lots of things to do. But little did we know, it would end in yelling and employees saying “I definitely need a drink over this”. We were first greeted by a nice man who invited us on the hayride to take us to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard. We were never asked for any tickets (assuming that we would just pay for what we took when we got back to the store). We picked our pumpkins, and once we got back to the hayride, the lady asked “where are your patch tickets?” We stated we were never asked to purchase any before riding, and in the end were blamed for “missing the obvious signs”. Mind you, there were 7 of us with a small baby so it is quite easy to miss things like that in the midst of large group chaos. We told the hayride driver that we would happily go back to the store and pay for what we took as well as pay for the hayride and tried to make light of the situation. We entered the store to an incredibly rude woman, I am hoping it wasn’t the owner. We said “we’re sorry, we weren’t told to buy tickets before hand” to which this woman says “that’s not the hayride drivers job”. We replied “well we’re sorry we have never been here before”. She replied “well it’s 90 dollars” and the register girl proceeds to start sassily running us up. We decided to not take the pumpkins and offered to put them back even, but the horribly rude lady replied “just leave them there”. We again said “we’re sorry but we’ve never been here how would we know?!” To which she replied yet again in a horribly sassy voice “there’s signs everywhere, hard to miss”. I don’t believe I have ever written a review in my life, but this one was worth writing. We planned a nice family day, and also planned on spending plenty of money in their store, but unfortunately left with just paying for the hayride all thanks to their horrible attitudes. All it took was for a respectful conversation to explain how it works, and so we know for next time… but now, there will be no next time. Extremely upsetting and embarrassing in all honesty. Whoever the middle aged lady with mid length grey hair was, you should be ashamed and perhaps consider a class on customer service.”
