“One of the best things about visiting eastern LI is all the farm stands. When there, we visit a few different farmer markets and always come home with lots of fruits and vegetables. We also cook when out there and try to use as many local vegetables as we can. This trip we came home with three large watermelons, a few pounds of peaches, a couple of very large cauliflowers and some other vegetables. The photos show much of what they had in mid September. The watermelons and peaches were both amazing. There is a large area with picnic tables and a few porta potties. From here you have a good view of the farm.”

“Good option for U-Pick Strawberries in the North Fork. It was a decent size field. However, I could see being picked through on a weekend. We went on a weekday, and there were more than enough delicious ripe berries for all the foot traffic we saw come through.”

“Incredible fresh market. Came here over the weekend and came back the next day because it was so great. Fresh fruit(grapes, apples, plums, etc.), veggies (green beans, cucumbers, celery, etc.), herbs, sunflowers, pumpkins, honey, and much more!!”

“This is a gem. I live on the other side of the bay and frequent Norfolk, but I never stopped for vegetables. This place was loaded with amazing vegetables and a variety of gourds. The prices were astoundingly fair.”

“Had late breakfast with corn and watermelon. Fruits and Vegetables were fresh. Strawberry picking was available this time of the year. They got parking and tables for family to eat.”

“Delicious fresh baked bread. Strawberry picking Fresh produce.”

“Excellent variety of items to purchase from fresh fruits and vegetables to baked goods including pies, cakes, bread, etc. The location is perfect, right off Sound Avenue. However, the prices here are on the high side and you might do much better to move on down the road a bit and stop at the next food market. Are you kidding me, a $1.25 each for an ear of corn, come on now. One of the things that I found most interesting is they will charge a much higher price if you wish to use a credit card, and much higher than what the card company is charging them, so bring cash if you intend to buy anything. We really do not have much to say about the staff, if you can find one to help you, just beware. Again, think there are much better options available in the immediate vicinity.”

“I’ve been stopping at this farm stand for years on my trips to the area but will never go again. Their prices have always been really high but yesterday, when an older lady was ringing me up, I had to remove a $5 tomato because I couldn’t afford it and not only was she extremely annoyed about it, when I was finished i said “thank you, have a great day” And she said nothing. Then, as I was leaving, she actually complained about me not wanting the tomato to her co-worker loud enough for me to hear . I was shocked at how rude she was. Not everyone can afford high prices, they don’t need to be publicly shamed about it. I get that this might be a stressful time for farmers and maybe she was just having a bad day but I didn’t deserve to be treated that way. Never going back and hope that lady learns how to be nicer to her customers.”
