“A hidden little gem for “U-pick” apple orchard in Long Island. Authentic apple picking experience! You can buy natural fresh ciders & delicious fresh warm apple cider doughnuts too!! We went in Oct. 12th of 2019 and really enjoyed this orchard! It was perfect!! At the Jamesport location (I think that is the smaller of the two locations). The warm cider donuts are amazing and the cider was light and refreshing! They are so good!! The fact they offer FRESH WARM apple cider doughnuts will make your day & experience!! I have been to others where they are premade in a plastic container to go (they are dry, heavy, and harder). Honestly Once you have had fresh warm, sugary, fluffy light doughnut nothing will compare. Perfect for those who do not want to go to an overly crowded place. Pricing was very fair for entry, cider, & baked good!! I think many of appreciate a small business still offering that. Atmosphere: It was an added bonus that it was not over crowded. I really appreciated that it was not - you can enjoy the experience a lot more! It felt family run & very relaxing to be out there picking apples with friends. (Some orchards feel like fall carnivals with loads of kids crafts, face painting, and screaming). I would definitely recommend trying this orchard if you have not yet!!”
